Online Consultations with eConsult
eConsult is an efficient way to contact us here at Grove Road Surgery to seek medical advice, request appointments with our GPs, and for administrative tasks such as requesting medical notes and reports.
Patients can now get online access to GPs, providing the same service as we deliver via phone, but quicker. eConsult online consultation means you can submit any medical query, including requests for an appointment, at a time when it suits you.
Surgery Opening Hours
We are open Monday & Tuesday 8.00am - 7.30pm, & Wednesday to Friday from 8.00am - 6.30pm. We close on weekends & bank holidays. Call 111 for medical advice when we are closed.
Self Care
For a lot of common illnesses and ailments there is no specific cure and they will be relieved with time and simple remedies available without prescription.
Request a Sick Note
For the first 7 days that you are unable to work through sickness you can complete a self certification form. After 7 days, you will need a note from your GP.
NHS Medical Services
We offer all core NHS general medical services & a number of enhanced medical services such as cardiovascular health checks, joint injections & contraceptive implants.
Private Medical Services
The NHS does not pay for some services, including private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, and fitness to travel certificates.
Self Referral Services
Patients can self-refer and find support for a number of services without seeing a GP, including antenatal services, breast screening, physiotherapy, and emergency contraception.
Update Your Details
Moved home? Changed email address or phone number? Got married and changed your surname? Please let us know of any changes to your personal details so we can update our records.
Book Your Flu Vaccination
If you are in an at-risk group, please call the surgery on 0208 800 9781 to book your vaccination. Our flu clinics are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Working as a team, our doctors, nurses and support staff are here to give you the very best medical care. The practice will treat all patients as an equal partner in the care and attention they receive.
We offer a comprehensive range of medical services, including all core NHS primary care general medical services, and a number of enhanced NHS services, plus a range of private medical services not funded by the NHS such as insurance medicals. Plesase note you do not need to be a registered patient to book a private medical.
